# Confirmation required

The API answered with HTTP 400 and the error code `confirmation_required`.

A destructive or publishing step needs its confirmation: confirm_public: true to make a brand public, confirm_delete: true to delete a brand.

Every error is an [RFC 9457](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9457) problem document (`application/problem+json`). Match on `code`, never on the message text. See [errors](/docs/api/errors) for the full list.
