# Request still running

The API answered with HTTP 409 and the error code `idempotency_in_progress`.

A request with the same Idempotency-Key has not finished. Wait Retry-After seconds and send it again; you get its answer.

Every error is an [RFC 9457](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9457) problem document (`application/problem+json`). Match on `code`, never on the message text. See [errors](/docs/api/errors) for the full list.
