# Purchase not available

## What it means

The API answered with HTTP 409 and the error code `purchase_unavailable`.

The organization cannot buy this plan now: it already has a plan, its plan is managed by Tarkle, or the plan cannot be combined with what it holds. Or the purchase was canceled. details.reason says which.

## How to handle it

Every error is an [RFC 9457](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9457) problem document (`application/problem+json`). Match on `code`, never on the message text. See [errors](/docs/api/errors) for the full list.
