# Cloud storage

Every workspace has a library: files and folders you keep in Tarkle. Storage comes from the organization's plan and is shared by its workspaces.

Protected folders (File requests, team folders, transfer folders) cannot be changed through the API.

## Access

Scopes: `files:read`, `files:write`. Every call also names a workspace (see [Authentication](/docs/get-started/authentication)).
