# How do I create a workspace for a client?

Create a client workspace from the workspace hub, and your client is invited to it as Admin.

You create a client workspace from the workspace hub. The workspace belongs to your organization, and your client is invited to it as Admin.

## Before you start

- You need the Agency plan, and you must be the organization owner.
- You need a workspace of your own first.
- You need room under your 20-workspace limit.

## Steps

1. Open the [workspace hub](/dashboard) and choose **New workspace**.
2. Choose **For a client**. (The other option is **For me or my team**.)
3. Enter the workspace **Name** and your client's email in **Client email**, then choose **Continue**. You cannot use your own email. Choose **For me or my team** for a workspace you use yourself.
4. On the next screen, optionally enter **Storage for this client** in GB or TB. Leave it empty for no limit. To change the amount later, see [assign storage to a client workspace](/help/agency-plan/assign-storage-to-a-client-workspace).
5. Choose a **Data residency** region. Tarkle suggests one from your location, and you can change it. Optionally, add a **Logo**.
6. Choose **Done**. Tarkle creates the workspace and sends your client an invitation as **Admin**. To see what your client does next, read [how clients get access to their workspace](/help/agency-plan/how-clients-get-access).

## If something fails

Tarkle sends the invitation and applies the storage limit on its own servers, so closing the tab does not stop them. The workspace is created first. If a message says the invitation was not sent, the workspace still exists and shows an **Invite not sent** badge in the hub. Open its menu and choose **Resend invite**. If the storage share was not applied, set it with **Assign limit**.
