# How do clients get access to their workspace?

Your client gets an emailed invitation as Admin of the workspace you made for them, and accepts it on Tarkle.

When you create a workspace for a client on the Agency plan, Tarkle emails your client an invitation to join that workspace as an Admin. This article explains what the client receives, what they do on the accept page, and how to send the invitation again if it did not arrive. To create the workspace, follow [Create a workspace for a client](https://tarkle.com/help/agency-plan/create-a-workspace-for-a-client).

## When the invitation is sent

Tarkle sends the invitation while it creates the workspace, so you do not send it yourself. The client's email must be a different address from your own. If the email cannot be sent, the workspace is still created and the invitation is withdrawn. The hub then shows **Invite not sent** on that workspace, and you can send the invitation again as described below.

## What the client receives

The subject of the email reads Invite to join, followed by the workspace name. When [white label](https://tarkle.com/help/agency-plan/set-up-white-label) is on, the email carries the name, logo and accent color of your agency. Its button opens your own domain when your organization domain is active, as set up in [How do I use my own domain with the Agency plan?](https://tarkle.com/help/agency-plan/agency-organization-domain). Otherwise the button opens tarkle.com.

## What the client does on the accept page

The client clicks the button in the email. The accept page says that the workspace invited their email address to join. From there the client does one of two things:

- If the email already has a Tarkle account, the page offers **Sign in to accept**. After signing in, the client returns to the invitation.
- If it does not, the page offers **Sign up to accept**. The sign-up form opens with the invited email already filled in.

When the client is signed in with the invited email, the page offers **Join workspace**. Clicking it opens the workspace's home page. **Decline** turns the invitation down. If the client is signed in with a different email, the page asks them to sign in with the invited email, and **Decline** is not shown. If the invitation has expired, the page says so and asks for a new one.

The client joins that workspace as an Admin.

## Plan and billing

The Agency plan includes 20 client workspaces. Only the organization owner buys, upgrades and cancels the Agency plan, in [Billing](/dashboard/settings/billing). For the plan prices, see [Tarkle pricing](/pricing).

If the Agency plan is canceled or a payment fails, you return to Free and client workspaces can be suspended. [What happens if my Agency plan ends?](https://tarkle.com/help/agency-plan/if-your-agency-plan-ends) is the next article to read.

## If the client did not get the email

Open the [workspace hub](/dashboard) and find the workspace row. The **Invite not sent** label means the client's invitation has not been sent. Open the workspace's menu and choose **Resend invite**. Tarkle sends the invitation again to the client's email.

If you do not see **Resend invite**, open [Members](/dashboard/settings/members) in that workspace (members are set per workspace), click **Add team**, choose **Invite a user**, and enter the client's email address. Ask the client to check their spam folder too.
