# Tarkle plans and pricing

See what Free, Pro and Agency include, what each costs, and how to move to a paid plan.

Tarkle gives freelancers, agencies and small teams one place to store and share files. There are three plans: Free, Pro and Agency. The plan belongs to your organization, and the workspaces in that organization share its limits. Prices are on the [pricing page](https://tarkle.com/pricing).

## Free

The Free plan costs nothing and requires no credit card. It is for one person with one workspace.

- 5 GB of cloud storage
- Uploads and transfers up to 1 GB
- Sharing and requesting files
- Client feedback and approval
- Custom branding and a custom domain
- Event management
- Password protection for shared files
- 30-day file recovery

The "Powered by Tarkle" backlink always shows on your pages on Free and cannot be turned off.

## Pro

Pro costs $29 per month when billed monthly, or $19 per month when billed yearly. The yearly price is $228 per year, charged once.

Pro includes everything in Free, plus:

- 2 workspaces
- 3 TB of cloud storage, shared by the workspaces in your organization
- Uploads and transfers up to 200 GB
- Unlimited team members, with team folders and team storage
- File versioning
- A branded client portal
- AI assistant (Beta)
- Slack integration
- 90-day file recovery
- Priority support

On Pro you can turn off the "Powered by Tarkle" backlink on your pages.

## Agency

Agency costs $59 per month when billed monthly, or $49 per month when billed yearly. The yearly price is $588 per year, charged once.

Agency includes everything in Pro, plus:

- 20 workspaces for your clients
- 6 TB of cloud storage, shared by the workspaces in your organization
- A white-label platform: your clients sign in on your own domain, and "Powered by Tarkle" becomes your agency name
- A client provisioning portal

## How to move to a paid plan

Only the organization owner can buy a plan. You pay by card at checkout.

1. **Open Billing:** sign in as the organization owner and open the Billing page.
2. **Pick monthly or yearly:** turn the **Pay yearly** switch on for yearly billing, or off for monthly.
3. **Choose a plan:** click **Upgrade to Pro** or **Upgrade to Agency**.
4. **Pay:** enter your card details at checkout.

If you pay monthly and switch or upgrade to another plan, the new plan is charged in full today and the old plan ends right away.

## When a paid plan ends

If the owner cancels a paid plan, the organization keeps it until the end of the period already paid for. The organization then goes back to Free. If it has more workspaces than Free allows, the extra workspaces are switched off.

## When to choose a paid plan

Pro fits when you need more than 5 GB of storage, files larger than 1 GB, team members or a second workspace. Agency fits when you run Tarkle for your clients and want each client in their own workspace on your own domain.
