# What is included with Tarkle Free?

What the Free plan includes, what Pro and Agency add, and how to move your organization to a paid plan.

Tarkle Free is the plan that costs nothing. The plan belongs to your organization.

## What Free includes

Free includes the following.

- One workspace.
- 5 GB of storage.
- Files and transfers up to 1 GB each.
- One team member in each workspace.
- One custom domain for each workspace. Set it up on [Domains](/dashboard/settings/domains) in the workspace you want to use it in.
- One Brand Page, with no Brand Page custom domain.
- Custom branding. The "Powered by Tarkle" line stays on every Free page.
- File sharing, file requests, client feedback and approval, and password protection.
- 30 days of file recovery in the bin.

## What Free leaves out

Some features are on Pro and Agency only. Agency includes everything in Pro.

- **Slack.** Slack requires the Pro plan, so it is on Pro and Agency.
- **Client portal.** The client portal is included on Pro and Agency.
- **File versions.** Keeping earlier versions of a file is a Pro and Agency feature.
- **More storage.** Pro has 3 TB of storage.
- **Larger files.** Pro allows files and transfers up to 200 GB each.
- **More Brand Pages.** Pro has unlimited Brand Pages, and each one can have its own custom domain. See [Brand page plans and limits](/help/branding/brand-page-plans-and-limits).
- **Longer recovery.** Pro keeps deleted files for 90 days.
- **More team members.** Pro has unlimited team members.

## Moving to Pro or Agency

Open [Billing](/dashboard/settings/billing) to see the plan your organization is on. To move from Free to a paid plan, follow [How to upgrade your organization from Free to Pro](/help/billing-subscription/how-to-upgrade-from-free-to-pro). Only Pro and Agency are paid by card, at checkout. To move to Agency, follow [How do I upgrade to the Agency plan?](/help/agency-plan/upgrade-to-agency).

## When Free is a good fit

Free suits one person who needs up to 5 GB of storage and sends files up to 1 GB each. Move to Pro when you need more storage, larger files, more Brand Pages, longer file recovery, the client portal or Slack.
