# How to add logos, colors and fonts to a brand page

Add your logos, colors and fonts in the Logos, Colors and Fonts tabs of the brand editor.

Each brand page keeps its logos, colors and fonts. You add each one in its own tab of the brand editor, and visitors see them on the public brand page. The editor has these tabs: Basics, Links, Logos, Colors, Fonts, Assets, SEO and Settings. How many brand pages you can have depends on your plan, see [Brand page plans and limits](https://tarkle.com/help/branding/brand-page-plans-and-limits).

## Steps

1. **Open the brand.** Brand pages belong to a workspace. On the [brand pages list](/dashboard/brands), click **Create brand** or open a brand from the list. New to brand pages? [How to create a brand page](https://tarkle.com/help/branding/create-a-brand-page) covers the first steps of a new brand.
2. **Add the logos.** In the **Logos** tab, drop a file on **Icon** or **Main logo**, or click the box and pick a file. Add a **Brand banner** for the header image of your brand page.
3. **Add more logos.** Under **Additional logos**, click **Add logo**, pick one or more files, then give each logo a name, a type and a usage.
4. **Set the colors.** In the **Colors** tab, set the **Primary color**. Click **Add secondary color** for a second main color, and click **Add color** for each extra color. Give each extra color a **Color name**.
5. **Add print values (optional).** Under **Print values**, enter a CMYK value and a Pantone name for any color.
6. **Choose the fonts.** In the **Fonts** tab, click the **Headline** box, then the **Body** box. Each one says **Select font** until you pick a font. In the window, choose **Google**, **Adobe** or **Custom**, then click **Continue**.
7. **Save.** On a new brand, click **Save as draft** or **Publish**. On an existing draft, click **Save draft** or **Publish**. On a published brand, click **Save changes**.

A brand saved as a draft is hidden from visitors, though workspace members can still open it. On a published brand, **Unpublish** turns it back into a draft.

## Logos

**Icon** and **Main logo** accept PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, up to 10 MB. The **Brand banner** accepts PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 10 MB. Each file picker offers **Upload**, **Library**, **Dropbox** and **Google Drive**. The Dropbox and Google Drive tabs appear once you have connected them.

The **Icon** also serves as the favicon until you upload one in the **SEO** tab. The **Favicon** field there takes a square image of at least 128x128, in PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG or ICO, up to 2 MB.

Each additional logo has a type: Primary, Secondary, Monochrome, Reversed, Icon, Favicon, Square or Social Media. Its usage is Digital, Print or All Purpose, and All Purpose is the default. You can add up to 20 additional logos.

The **Offer black and white versions** switch, under **Logo downloads** in the **Logos** tab, is on for a new brand. While it is on, visitors can download a one-color black or white copy of a logo that has a transparent background. On the brand page, the download menu offers a Black PNG and a White PNG at 1024 px, plus a Black SVG and a White SVG when the logo is an SVG. Tarkle makes these copies itself, and only when you have not uploaded a monochrome or reversed logo of your own. Logo downloads follow the same download rule as font files, described below.

When an additional logo has the type Monochrome or Reversed, Tarkle stops making these copies for the brand, and the black and white downloads leave the menu. The menu still offers the logo's original file.

## Colors

Set the **Primary color** and, if you need one, a **Secondary color**, either with the picker or by typing a HEX value. You can add up to 30 additional colors. Each one takes a name, such as Sky blue, and a HEX value.

Under **Print values**, you can enter the exact CMYK for a color as four numbers from 0 to 100, and a Pantone name, such as 2665 C. A value you enter replaces the approximate CMYK that Tarkle works out from the screen color. You can enter print values for up to 40 colors.

On the brand page, each swatch shows its name and HEX value. Hover over a swatch to see HEX, RGB and CMYK chips, plus a PANTONE chip when a Pantone name is set. Click a chip to copy its value. On a touch screen the chips always show. Without a CMYK value, the CMYK chip shows an approximate value worked out from the screen color.

## Fonts

Each slot, **Headline** and **Body**, takes one font. Click the **Headline** or **Body** box to open the font window, which has three tabs:

- **Google:** search the list and pick a family.
- **Custom:** click **Choose a font file** and pick a WOFF2, WOFF, TTF or OTF file, up to 10 MB. The name comes from the file name. To change it, edit **Shown on the page as**.
- **Adobe:** this tab appears once you have entered your own Adobe Fonts web project.

To use an Adobe font, open the **Settings** tab, find the **Integrations** card, turn on **Adobe Fonts**, and paste your web project ID or stylesheet link. Then pick the fonts in the **Fonts** tab. Visitors see Adobe fonts without needing Adobe, and they cannot download them. If the Adobe tab says the web project has no fonts, add fonts to the project on Adobe Fonts, publish it, and then reopen the window.

On the public brand page, click a custom font to open its preview. A **Download font file** button shows there only when the visitor can download from that brand page. Google and Adobe fonts never show it. Turn on **Require approval to download** in the **Settings** tab to have visitors request access first, see [How do download approval and access requests work?](https://tarkle.com/help/branding/download-approval-and-requests).

## What happens next

After you publish, the logos, colors and fonts show on the public brand page. Next, open the **Assets** tab to add **Brand assets**, **Team**, **Press** and **Guidelines**. Set who can open the page in the **Settings** tab under **Access**, see [Who can open a brand page?](https://tarkle.com/help/branding/who-can-open-a-brand-page)
