# Custom branding in Tarkle: logo, favicon, accent color and backlink

Set your logo, favicon and accent color, and turn the Powered by Tarkle backlink on or off, in Settings.

Tarkle lets you set your logo, favicon and accent color for the public pages your clients open, and turn off the Powered by Tarkle backlink on Pro and Agency. All of these controls are on the General tab in Settings. This article shows where each one is, which plans include it and what it does.

## Find the branding controls

Open **Settings** and stay on the **General** tab. The **Workspace settings** card holds the **Logo**, **Favicon** and **Accent color** controls. The **Backlink** card on the same tab holds the **Powered by Tarkle** switch. Branding is set for each workspace, so make the change in the workspace you want to brand. For the other fields on this tab, see [How to update your Tarkle workspace settings](https://tarkle.com/help/account/how-to-update-your-tarkle-workspace-settings).

## Logo

Click the logo square in the **Workspace settings** card. It reads Logo until you add one. Choose a PNG or JPEG image. The logo appears on every transfer page, request page and portal. It can be set on every plan, Free included.

## Favicon

The favicon is the icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. Click **Favicon** and choose a PNG or JPEG image. A favicon needs a Pro plan. On Free, the Favicon button shows a Pro badge and opens the upgrade prompt instead. Agency includes everything in Pro, so the favicon is available on Agency too.

## Accent color

Click **Accent color**, then pick a color with the picker or type a hex value. The accent color is used for buttons on your public pages. It can be set on every plan.

## Save the branding

Click the save button at the bottom of the **Workspace settings** card. It saves the logo, favicon and accent color together. Only members with permission to edit settings can save them.

## Powered by Tarkle backlink

The **Powered by Tarkle** switch on the **Backlink** card controls a small Powered by Tarkle line on your public pages, and that line links to tarkle.com. Flipping the switch saves at once.

On Free, the switch cannot be changed. Pro and Agency can turn it off. To compare the plans, see [pricing](/pricing). To turn the line off step by step, see [How to disable "Powered by Tarkle" on your workspace](https://tarkle.com/help/branding/how-to-disable-powered-by-tarkle-on-your-workspace).

When the switch is off, the line is hidden on pages your clients open from your own custom domain. To set one up, see [How to set up a custom domain](https://tarkle.com/help/branding/how-to-set-up-a-custom-domain) and use the [Domains](/dashboard/settings/domains) tab. The line always shows on Tarkle addresses, which are tarkle.com and its subdomains, and on tarkle.page links.

On Agency, your agency name replaces the line instead. To set this up, see [How do I set up white label on the Agency plan?](https://tarkle.com/help/agency-plan/set-up-white-label).

The **Backlink** card also has a **Referral link** switch. It uses your own referral link instead of the default Tarkle link. Only the workspace owner can turn it on.
