We ran lifetime deals for Sharebrand and Bripes to fund early development and build an initial customer base. Those deals helped us ship faster and build products people actually use. They served their purpose.
When we do run deals now, they are time-limited and purpose-specific. A deal might mark a product launch, a seasonal promotion, or a way to let early supporters get in at a lower price before a feature ships. They are not permanent.
