A workspace in Tarkle Send is a fully contained environment tied to your account. Everything you do in Tarkle Send happens inside a workspace: sending files, managing contacts, configuring your brand, inviting team members, and handling billing.
What a workspace contains
Each workspace operates independently. Nothing spills between them. Here is what each workspace holds on its own:
Branding — its own logo, favicon, accent color, and custom domain
Team — its own member list with roles and permissions
Billing — its own subscription and plan, managed separately from any other workspace under the same account
File library — its own storage, transfers, and folders
Contacts — its own client list and contacts
Settings — its own workspace name, URL, timezone, language, legal details, and email configuration
One account, multiple workspaces
Your Tarkle Send account (email and login) can own more than one workspace. This means you do not need a separate account for each business you run. A freelancer managing three different client brands can have three workspaces, each with its own domain and identity, all accessible from the same login. An agency with two separate business units can keep their file environments, contacts, and billing fully separated without logging out.
Switching between workspaces takes one click from the sidebar. The switcher at the top of the sidebar shows your current workspace and lets you jump to any other workspace you own, or create a new one.
When multiple workspaces make sense
A single workspace is right for most users. Multiple workspaces make sense when:
You operate more than one business and need separate branding, custom domains, or billing for each
You serve clients who should not see each other's files or contact information
You want different team setups — different members, different roles — for different operations
You need to keep storage and usage tracked separately per entity
Each workspace requires its own active plan. You cannot share a subscription across workspaces — each one is billed independently, which also means each one can be on a different plan tier depending on its needs.
For steps on creating an additional workspace, see How to Create an Additional Workspace.
