An organization is a named group in your workspace that represents a company, team, or client account. Organizations group one or more contacts together so you can see all the people associated with a particular business in one place.
What an Organization contains
Each organization record includes:
Organization name
Logo (auto-resolved from the contact's email domain, or manually set)
Active or inactive status
A list of member contacts
Transfer history associated with the organization
Organizations live in the Organizations tab inside your Contacts section.
How Organizations are created
Organizations can be created in two ways.
Automatically from a transfer. When you send a transfer to an email address and that contact has no organization in your workspace yet, Tarkle Send creates one automatically. The organization is named using the email prefix and the contact is added as its Owner. If the contact already has an organization, the new transfer is linked to the existing one instead.
When adding a business contact manually. When you create a contact and check the Business contact checkbox, you can provide an organization name. That organization is created and the contact is added as the initial member. Tarkle Send attempts to resolve a logo from the contact's email domain automatically.
Organization members
An organization can have multiple members. Each member is a contact in your workspace. Members have organization-level roles such as Owner, which are separate from workspace roles. Adding a member to an organization does not change their workspace permissions.
Organization status
Organizations have an active or inactive status. You can filter the Organizations tab to show only active or inactive organizations. An organization's status is independent of its members' contact status.
What you can do with Organizations
From the Organizations tab you can:
Search organizations by name
Sort by name, most recent, or active/inactive status
Export selected organizations as a CSV file
Delete organizations (deleting an organization does not delete its member contacts — they remain in your Contacts list)
