When you create a transfer in Tarkle Send, you choose how your files reach the recipient. The transfer modal walks you through two steps: first you select what to share, then you configure how it is accessed and shared.
Two ways to share
Every transfer can be shared in one of two ways:
By link — Generate a shareable URL. Anyone with the link can access it, subject to the settings you apply.
By email — Enter up to 30 recipient email addresses. The transfer is sent directly to each one.
Both methods support expiration dates and password protection. The link tab unlocks additional settings like direct download and email gate.
Transfer settings
On step two of the transfer modal, you configure access and delivery. These settings can be combined, with some mutual exclusions that the system enforces automatically:

Expiration date
Every transfer, regardless of access type, can be set to expire. The minimum is one day from creation and the maximum is three years. Once the date passes, the link becomes inactive. Expiration is optional and can be cleared before creating the transfer.
