Introducing Brand Page Domains

New

Tarkle Send now lets you connect a custom domain directly to a Brand Page.

Brand Pages are minimal public spaces for presenting a client or brand’s creative assets. Add logos and logo variations, colors, fonts, images, and other brand materials, then share one clear destination instead of sending individual files or transfers.

Previously, Brand Pages were shared from your workspace domain:

files.yourdomain.com/b/brand-name

Now you can give a Brand Page its own address:

brand.acme.com

This gives each client or brand a cleaner, more independent place to access the assets you have prepared for them.

To connect a Brand Page domain, go to Branding → Domains, choose Add brand domain, select the Brand Page you want to connect, then add the DNS records shown by Tarkle Send. Once the domain is verified, the Brand Page will be available on its own custom address.

What stays separate

A Brand Page domain is separate from your workspace custom domain.

  • Workspace custom domain: Public transfers, video and audio pages, file requests, and your public workspace profile
  • Brand Page domain: One specific public Brand Page and its asset library

For example:

  • files.acme.com/t/project-files can remain your branded file-transfer link.
  • brand.acme.com can become the public home for a single Brand Page.

Why this is useful

When Tarkle Send was first introduced as Cloudbrand, the goal was not only to help businesses send files under their own brand. It was also to make it easier to organize and share brand materials with clients.

Brand Page Domains move that idea forward. They give agencies, freelancers, studios, consultants, and other client-facing businesses a more polished way to hand over creative assets without relying on a long workspace URL or a one-time file transfer.

AI-generated titles and summaries

New
AI-generated titles and summaries

When creating a transfer or file request, select the AI generate option to create a suggested title and summary based on the content involved. The generated copy helps recipients understand what they are receiving or being asked to upload before they open the page.

For example, instead of sending a transfer titled “Files,” Tarkle Send can suggest something closer to:

Website launch assets, including final logos, social graphics, and brand guidelines.

The feature uses transfer context, such as file names, file types, file sizes, and whether you are sharing files, video, or audio. Over time, it can also use relevant patterns from your previous workspace transfers to make suggestions more consistent with the way your business shares work.

AI generation is optional. Tarkle Send does not generate titles or summaries unless you select it, and you can edit every suggestion before sending a transfer or publishing a file request.

Privacy note

Privacy: AI generation runs only when you choose it. Tarkle Send sends the transfer or request context needed to generate the suggested title and summary. Your workspace content is not used to train AI models.

What is supported

  1. New file transfer: Generates a suggested title and summary after files are selected
  2. Video or audio transfer: Uses the selected media file names, sizes, and transfer type for context
  3. New file request: Generates or rewrites the file-request title and description

Tarkle Send has generation controls in the new-transfer modal and new/edit file-request forms. It generates the title and summary together, autofills the editable fields, uses file-level metadata and transfer type for context, and stores transfer context after creation to improve future suggestions.

A clearer home for files and transfers

Improvement
A clearer home for files and transfers

Tarkle Send now separates file storage from file transfer, making it easier to understand where content belongs and what happens when you share it.

Library is your cloud storage space. Upload, organize, preview, manage, and keep your business files, documents, video, and audio in one workspace.

Transfers are for sending files out. Select content from your Library, send it through a branded transfer page or email, and track recipient activity after delivery.

This reflects how Tarkle Send is used by agencies, freelancers, studios, law firms, consultants, and other client-facing businesses:

  • Store and manage your content in Library.
  • Send selected files through Transfers.
  • Keep your workspace organized without treating every upload as something that must be sent immediately.

Tarkle Send offers business cloud storage alongside branded file sharing, with storage starting at 500 GB and extending to plans with unlimited storage. The upcoming Tarkle Send Mac app will extend this further by bringing desktop file sync to your workspace.

This update gives storage and sharing their own place in the product, while keeping them connected when it is time to send work to a recipient.

A new foundation for your custom domain

Improvement
A new foundation for your custom domain

Tarkle Send has updated how custom domains and workspace access work.

Previously, your workspace domain could be used for both private workspace access and public file-sharing activity. As Tarkle Send has grown, that setup made the platform harder to extend and limited how we could improve the product.

You now sign in at app.tarkle.com/sign-in to manage your workspace, files, transfers, team, branding, and settings.

Your custom domain now has one clear job: presenting your work to recipients. Existing transfer links continue to work as normal, including links such as:

files.yourdomain.com/t/your-transfer

Your custom domain also supports public file transfers, video and audio pages, file-request pages, and a new minimal public workspace profile at the root of your domain.

This change separates private workspace management from the public client experience. It gives Tarkle Send a stronger base for new product capabilities, including the Mac app and future workspace improvements.

Important notes

  • Sign in and manage your workspace at app.tarkle.com/sign-in.
  • Existing file-transfer links continue to work.
  • Custom domains remain the public home for your transfers, file requests, and shared content.
  • Visiting the root of your custom domain now shows your public workspace profile.
  • No files, transfers, recipient links, or workspace settings are removed by this change.

Tarkle Send now supports data residency

New
Tarkle Send now supports data residency

Tarkle Send now gives you control over where your workspace content is stored.

With data residency, you can choose the geographic location for your files, uploads, video, audio, and workspace assets. Keeping content closer to your operations and recipients can improve upload speed, delivery performance, streaming, and downloads.

Choose from Tarkle’s globally optimized location, Europe, the United States, Asia Pacific, or Oceania. The Europe location provides European data residency and greater data sovereignty for businesses operating in Europe or working with European clients.

Data residency is selected when you create a workspace. Existing workspaces remain in Tarkle’s globally optimized location today. We are working on a migration path for existing workspaces.

Tarkle Send August Updates: Data residency, Custom domains for brand pages, WordPress Plugin, and increased upload limits

FeatureNew
Tarkle Send August Updates: Data residency, Custom domains for brand pages, WordPress Plugin, and increased upload limits

Over the last few months, we have rebuilt a large part of the product so we can make Tarkle Send faster, more reliable, and much easier to expand.

Tarkle Send is still built around cloud storage, file sharing, file transfers, document requests, and brand management for agencies, studios, consultants, photographers, law firms, freelancers, and client-facing teams. But the infrastructure behind it is now much stronger.

You can now choose where your files are stored. Tarkle Send supports data residency in Europe, the United States, Asia-Pacific, and Oceania. Europe is available for teams that need GDPR-aligned data residency, while the other regions help businesses choose storage closer to their team, clients, and compliance needs.

We have also rebuilt the transfer infrastructure. File storage and file transfers are now handled separately, which gives us more control over performance, limits, future features, and how files move through the platform. File uploads and file transfers can now support files up to 200 GB, up from the previous 100 GB limit.

We have launched a native WordPress plugin, so you can place live file transfers and document-request forms directly on your WordPress website. Instead of sending someone away to another tool, you can let clients submit documents or access files from your own site.

Slack is now integrated too. You can receive activity updates in Slack when someone views or downloads a transfer, making it easier to follow up when a proposal, final handoff, contract, campaign folder, or file package has been opened.

We also launched dedicated video and audio pages. You can upload video or audio to Tarkle Send, share it through a branded public page, or embed it on your website. This is useful for video deliverables, client presentations, music, podcast files, voiceovers, training material, paid media, and other media that needs a cleaner sharing experience than a normal attachment.

Brand Pages now support their own custom domains. Your workspace can use a custom transfer domain for general file sharing and document requests, while each client brand can use a dedicated Brand Page domain.

For example, an agency could use: files.youragency.com for file transfers and document requests, while using: brand.client.com, assets.client.com, guidelines.client.com for client Brand Pages.

Each Brand Page domain is limited to that brand. It does not expose the private workspace, dashboard, settings, unrelated transfers, or another client’s files.

We have also consolidated several providers behind the scenes. That may not sound exciting, but it matters. It reduces the number of external services we depend on, makes our infrastructure easier to manage, and improves the financial stability of the product over time. It also gives us more room to invest in the parts of Tarkle Send that customers actually use.

Next, we are improving the core cloud storage and file-transfer experience even further.

We are working on multiple entities and domains inside one workspace. If you run two agencies, several brands, or multiple businesses, you will be able to manage them from one Tarkle Send workspace while sharing files under the right entity, brand, domain, and public identity.

We are also improving video storage, video sharing, audio storage, and audio sharing. Desktop applications are in development too, including a Mac app and a Windows app.

The Tarkle Send reseller module is also coming. It will make it possible for businesses to create and manage branded storage and file-sharing workspaces for their own customers.

Finally, the new Tarkle Send lifetime deal is live.

Lifetime access now starts at $29 per code. Each code adds 500 GB of cloud storage and expands your workspace capacity. You can stack unlimited codes in one workspace.

We are rebuilding Tarkle Send around one idea:

Your files should not look like they came from someone else’s product.

They should live under your brand, your domain, and your client experience. See Tarkle Send and the lifetime deal here: https://tarkle.com/deals/send

Nested folder upload fixed

Bug fix
Nested folder upload fixed

Previously, when uploading files or folders to nested locations (folders within folders), the upload modal would become unresponsive and files wouldn't upload. This has been completely resolved.

The issue was caused by how the upload interface was handling folder navigation in nested contexts. We've restructured the upload system to work seamlessly at all folder levels, whether at the root or deep within your folder structure. All users uploading files and folders to any location in their workspace.

Transfer link sub-folder paths hidden

Bug fix
Transfer link sub-folder paths hidden

When sharing a folder via transfer link, the breadcrumb now shows only the shared folder and its contents. Parent folders above the shared folder are no longer rendered in the breadcrumb navigation, improving privacy for users sharing specific folders within larger hierarchies.

In short, parent folder names and organizational structure are no longer exposed. Recipients viewing transfer links see a clean path like Files / Shared Folder instead of the full hierarchy including client names and project structure.

Example:

  • Before: Files / Clients / Acme Corp / Projects / Q3 / Assets / Final
  • After: Files / Assets

This applies to all transfer links, product pages, and embedded views.
