We started as a service business. We hit every tool problem agencies hit. So we built the stack we needed and opened it to everyone.
We started in 2021 as a design subscription service. As we scaled, we ran into the same fragmentation every growing agency runs into. File delivery lived in one tool, client work in another, contractors in a third. Nothing talked to each other, costs kept rising, and every attempt to look professional involved stitching systems together.
So we built our own. First a file sharing tool, then a client portal, then contractor management. Three products that solved real problems, but three separate brands, three databases, and three codebases pulling in different directions. We had recreated the fragmentation we were trying to fix. Today Tarkle is a suite of products: Send, Portal, Crew, and our design service at Studio.
Service businesses, agencies, freelancers, studios, consultants, all share the same operational layer. They need to deliver files to clients, manage incoming and outgoing work, and keep a distributed team running. That layer is where we focus.
Send is for transferring files and tracking documents professionally and securely. Portal gives productized agencies a proper place to sell, manage and deliver services at scale. Studio covers graphic and web design work for teams without the overhead of a hire. Crew is for hiring, managing and paying human and agent contractors.
We build lean, ship fast, and keep the products priced for the people who actually use them. Over 1,400 agencies and startups rely on one or more of our products to share files, sell services, and get design work done. Our team is 100% remote across North America, Asia and Europe.
