Most file sharing tools treat storage as an afterthought. You upload a file, share a link, and the file disappears into a queue with no way to find it again. Tarkle Send works differently. Every file you share or upload is stored in your workspace library, permanently available to reuse, reorganise, and reshare without uploading again.
What is cloud storage?
Cloud storage is a way to keep files on remote servers so you can access them from any device, at any time, without relying on a single hard drive. For businesses, cloud storage means your documents, videos, design assets, and audio files are always available to your team, regardless of where anyone is working.
Cloud storage is not the same as file sharing. Storage is where your files live. Sharing is how you move them to someone else. Most consumer cloud storage tools blur this line. Tarkle Send keeps them separate by design, which gives you more control over both.
How cloud storage works in Tarkle Send
Every file uploaded to your Tarkle Send workspace, whether uploaded manually or through a transfer, is stored in your workspace library. Storage is shared across your team and counted against your plan's storage limit (1 TB on Send, 3 TB on Send Pro).
Files are organised by type:
Documents — PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, presentations, and any file that is not video, audio, or photo
Videos — uploaded video files, processed and stored through your workspace
Audio — audio tracks and recordings
Photos — image files
Each file type has its own tab inside the library so you can navigate directly to what you need.
Where to find your files
Your file library lives at /files inside your workspace. Every file your team has ever uploaded or shared through Tarkle Send appears here. The library has six tabs:
Files — all files in your workspace, filterable and sortable
Folders — your folder structure for organising files into groups
Transferred — files that have been included in a transfer and shared with someone
Starred — files you have marked for quick access
Recent — files uploaded or accessed recently
Externals — embedded or masked links added from external sources like Google Drive, Figma, or Notion
What you can do in the library
From /files you can:
Upload files directly from your device, including documents, videos, audio, and images
Create folders to organise files by client, project, type, or any structure that fits your workflow
Move files between folders to restructure as projects evolve
Star files for quick access
Share any file by creating a transfer directly from the library without re-uploading
Add embedded or external files by pasting links from Google Drive, Figma, Notion, Dropbox, and other tools
Delete files individually or in bulk
View storage usage to track how much of your plan's storage is in use
Cloud storage that works with file sharing
The library and transfers work together. When you create a transfer, you can pull files directly from your library instead of uploading them again. One file can be included in multiple transfers, each with different access settings, recipients, and expiration dates.
This means you can store a master set of brand assets, proposals, or templates once and share them repeatedly, to different clients, with different passwords, on different deadlines, without duplicating storage.
Storage limits by plan
Plan | Storage | Team seats |
Send | 1 TB | 5 |
Send Pro | 3 TB | 15 |
Storage is shared across all team members in the workspace. Files deleted from the library are removed from storage immediately. Send Pro includes 90-day file recovery, so deleted files can be restored within that window.
