Tarkle Send — June Updates

Tarkle Send is now the unified name for the product previously known as Sharebrand. The product, infrastructure, and team stay the same, but the name and URLs now align with the rest of Tarkle.

We made this change to remove duplicate brand work and move faster on the product itself. That gives us one codebase, one roadmap, and a clearer path forward.

What changed

Your login URL moved from app.sharebrand.com to send.tarkle.com. Workspace subdomains moved from acme.sharebrand.app to acme.send.tarkle.com. Custom domains are unchanged.

The product experience is still Tarkle Send. Your files, transfers, requests, branding, and tracking all continue as before.

What shipped

A lot of product work landed with this update. The list below covers what is live now or available in your workspace.

  • Improved Slack integration. Slack now receives live tracking alerts for files that are created, transferred, viewed, or downloaded.
  • Transfer detail page. Every transfer now has a private detail page with recipient, type, view count, download count, revenue, and KPI charts.
  • Universal transfer embed. Public transfers can be embedded directly on your website with live tracking.
  • WordPress plugin. The Tarkle Send plugin is live in the WordPress.org directory and supports transfers, request forms, and direct download buttons.
  • Disable and rename transfers. You can revoke access without deleting files, then rename transfers to keep things organized.
  • Improved direct download links. Download buttons now support embed mode, so visitors can skip the transfer page.
  • Improved contacts. Contacts are now contact-first, with support for sending to up to 30 contacts or email addresses at once.
  • Expanded activity logs. Workspace activity logs now capture more actions for better visibility.
  • Paid transfers consolidated. File selling now lives inside transfers and sends payments directly to Stripe.
  • No bandwidth limits. Concurrent view and download restrictions have been removed.

Pricing update

Pricing was simplified into two plans: Send and Send Pro. The new structure keeps the product easier to understand and easier to sell.

Early customers were protected during the move. Lifetime buyers kept the storage they purchased and were migrated to the matching plan level.

Translation update

We are also massively translating Tarkle Send into Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Ukrainian, Turkish, Italian, and Portuguese. This is part of the next phase of making Send easier to use across more markets.

What is next

Zapier integration is in progress. AI document extraction, external storage refactors for Dropbox, Box, and pCloud, and a Stripe overhaul are also underway. Several other projects are in progress that we'll announce when they're ready.

If you have a feature request, go to the Tarkle roadmap and post it there. We review requests there and take them into consideration as we plan what ships next.
