How to create a Tarkle account
Create a free Tarkle account with your name and email, confirm it with a 6-digit code, and start without a password.
A Tarkle account needs only your name and a work email address. You confirm the address with a 6-digit code, so there is no password to choose. The account is free to start.
Open the sign-up page. Go to tarkle.com/sign-up. The page is titled "Create a free account".
Enter your name. Type it in the Full name field.
Enter your email. Use your business or work address in the Email field. Addresses that contain a plus sign are refused.
Click Continue with email. An invisible check runs in the background, so there is no box to tick.
Open the email. The subject is "Sign up to Tarkle", and the code is in large type in the message.
Type the code. On the screen that says "Enter the code we sent to finish creating your account", enter the 6 digits. The page submits on the sixth digit, or you can click Continue.
You can also use the Google button under the divider on the sign-up page instead of typing an email address. By creating an account you agree to the terms linked at the bottom of the form.
If the code does not arrive
A code is valid for 10 minutes and works once. Check your spam or junk folder, then click Resend code to get a new one. Click Change email if you typed the wrong address. Too many requests in a short time lock the form for a few minutes.
What happens next
Once the code is accepted, your email address is confirmed and you are signed in. If you were sent to sign up from an invitation, the address is fixed to the one that was invited, and you go on to accept the invitation. Later, sign in with a new code each time, as described in the sign-in article.
