How to create a branded video page with a Gumlet video
Wrap a Gumlet video in a Tarkle video page with its embed link, and choose who can open it.
A Gumlet video can play on a Tarkle video page. Tarkle creates the page and its link, and the video plays inside an embedded Gumlet player on that page. This article shows how to create the page from a Gumlet video and what your recipients see.
A video page is a video transfer. What are transfers in Tarkle? explains the three transfer types.
Before you start
Copy your Gumlet video link in this form: https://play.gumlet.io/embed/ASSETID, where ASSETID is the ID of the video in Gumlet. Only links in this form play on the video page, so use the embed form and not another Gumlet address.
Create the video page
Open [Transfers](/dashboard/transfers) in your workspace and start a new transfer.
Choose the video transfer type.
Paste the Gumlet link into the transfer dialog.
Enter a title for the page.
Choose who can open the page, as described in the next section.
Finish the dialog to create the transfer.

When you create the transfer, you choose one of three ways to open it: anyone with the link, people from one client organization, or a password. You can also set an expiry date. After that date the page no longer opens. How to password protect and set an expiry on a file transfer shows how to set a password and an expiry.
You can also add an email check. A visitor passes the email check once, and then the page stays open for that visitor for 24 hours. A visitor who enters the password stays unlocked for 30 days. Changing the password locks everyone out again. Signed-in people with access to the workspace open the page without the password or the email check.
What your recipients see
Recipients open the page link, and the video plays inside an embedded Gumlet player. The player's own controls come from Gumlet, and the video stays hosted on Gumlet. While a password or email check is not passed, the video does not show.
What happens next
Once the transfer is created, send the page link to your recipient.
