A team in Tarkle Send is the group of people who have been invited to work inside your workspace. Each member logs in with their own account, operates under a role you define, and contributes to the same shared workspace environment.
When a team makes sense
Not every Tarkle Send user needs team members. But for many businesses, having multiple people inside one workspace is what makes the tool practical. Here are situations where teams become useful:
Small creative studios — a designer, a project manager, and an account lead all need to send and track files for clients. Each person can work under their own login, send independently, and the workspace owner keeps visibility over all activity.
Freelance agencies — a solo founder who contracts work to others can invite contractors into the workspace so they can send client deliverables directly under the agency's brand, without the founder having to relay every file.
Consulting firms — multiple consultants at the same firm can send proposals, contracts, and reports from a single branded workspace rather than from their personal emails or unbranded links.
In-house marketing teams — a team responsible for sending campaign assets to partners and vendors can share one workspace with role-based access, so only authorized members can delete files or change workspace settings.
In each case, the workspace owner maintains control through roles and permissions while the team handles day-to-day file operations.
Seat limits per plan
The number of team members you can invite depends on your plan.
Plan | Included Seats |
Trial | Up to 15 seats during trial |
Send | 5 seats total (owner + 4 member) |
Send Pro | 15 seats total (owner + 14 member) |
If you need more seats beyond what your plan includes, additional packs of 5 seats are available at $10 per pack. For full details, see Extra Storage, Seat Packs, and Custom Plans.
Managing your team
Team management lives at /team in your workspace sidebar. From there you can see all current members, invite new ones, and assign or change roles. Inviting a member requires their email address and a role selection — they receive an email invitation and join the workspace once they accept.
To understand what each member can and cannot do once they are part of your workspace, see Roles and Permissions.
