Who can open a brand page?
In Settings → Access, choose Public, Password protected or Restricted. Only one applies.
In Settings → Access, choose Public, Password protected or Restricted. Only one applies.
Access | Who can open it |
|---|---|
Public | Anyone with the link. It can appear in search engines once published. |
Password protected | Anyone with the password, and your team. |
Restricted | The contact or organization members the brand is assigned to, and your team. Everyone else sees a private page with a request form. |
Password protected
Visitors enter the password once and stay unlocked for 30 days in that browser. If you change the password, everyone has to enter it again.
Your team is never asked for it.
Tarkle never shows the password. You share it yourself.
Restricted
Assign the brand to a contact or organization in Settings → Assign this brand. A restricted brand needs someone assigned.
Visitors who are not allowed see "{brand} is private" with a form to request access. Requesting does not let them in: you assign them, or share a password.
Drafts and search engines
A draft is hidden and answers "not found".
Only public, published brand pages can appear in search engines.
Pasting a draft link shows no preview. Pasting a password or restricted link shows only your workspace name and card, never the brand.
