How do I let viewers download a board?

In the board's three-dot menu, click Allow downloads. Viewers then get a Download button that saves the board's files as a zip.

In the board's three-dot menu, click Allow downloads. Viewers then get a Download button that saves the board's files as a zip.

Turn it on or off

  1. Open the board and click the three-dot menu.

  2. Click Allow downloads.

  3. Click Disable downloads to turn it off.

Downloads are off by default. Only the owner or someone with the edit-files permission can change it.

What viewers get

  • A Download button in the sidebar, above "Powered by Tarkle".

  • A zip named "Board title - CODE.zip", with one folder per version.

  • If the board has a password or email requirement, it applies to the download too.

For your team

Team members can always download, whatever the setting.

Earlier versions

The zip includes earlier versions of a file while your workspace still keeps them.

Limits

Each download is counted in the Downloads chart on the Feedback page.

Copy the board's link and send it, or use Share → Share by email. Anyone with the link can review it, unless you add a password or require an email.
