How to cancel a Tarkle subscription
Cancel a paid Tarkle plan from Billing, and see when your paid access ends.
You cancel a paid Tarkle plan from the Billing page of your organization. The cancellation is made in the Stripe billing portal that Billing opens for you. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Who can cancel
Only the owner of the organization can cancel a plan. An organization admin can open the Billing page and see the plan, but cannot manage it. Members who are neither owner nor admin are sent to Settings instead of the Billing page.
Open your billing page
Sign in to Tarkle with the account that owns the organization.
In the sidebar, open Settings, then select **Billing**.
In the Active subscriptions table, open the menu in the Actions column on your plan's row and select Manage.
The Active subscriptions table lists each plan with its Renewal date and its Status.
Cancel in Stripe
Manage opens the Stripe billing portal in the same tab. Follow the steps in the portal to cancel your subscription. When you finish in Stripe, the portal returns you to the Billing page.
After you cancel
Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. On the Billing page, the plan summary card then reads Ends on: followed by the date, in place of Next billing date:. The Renewal date column reads Ends followed by the date.
When the paid period ends, your workspace moves to the Free plan. If your content is over the Free limits, you will not be able to upload new files. You can still download your files for 30 days. After that, we may delete content above the Free limits, newest uploads first, unless you upgrade or reduce your usage first. Tarkle emails you before any deletion. To check your storage use and add more, read How to add more storage to your Tarkle workspace. You can also see current plans and prices on the pricing page.
Payments are non-refundable once processed, except where the law requires a refund or this Section says otherwise. We will refund a duplicate charge or a billing error once we confirm it. For a billing question, email support@tarkle.com. The refund policy explains more.
Plans that Tarkle manages
If Tarkle manages your plan by hand, Manage does not open the Stripe portal. The row offers Contact Tarkle in its Actions menu instead, and selecting it opens the Tarkle chat. The Billing page also says: Your plan is managed by Tarkle. Contact support to change it.
If your account also holds a Reseller plan, that plan has its own row in Active subscriptions, with its own Manage action.
