Lifetime business storage is cloud storage for your company's shared files that you pay for once, with no renewal. It is not a physical storage unit. This guide is for team leads and small business owners who want one payment for shared files, and it explains what a one-time plan covers, what it leaves out and what to check before you pay.
A lifetime plan is a different deal from a monthly or yearly subscription. What you get is fixed by the plan you buy, so the details that matter are storage, seats, workspaces and the features each plan includes.
What lifetime business storage covers
On Tarkle, a lifetime plan belongs to your organization. There are three: Pro 500 GB, Pro and Agency. Prices at the time of writing are $29, $169 and $299, each paid once. Check the lifetime plans page for the latest prices before you decide.
Beyond storage, the Pro 500 GB and Pro plans list file versioning, client feedback and approval, team folders and team storage, a fully branded client portal, 90-day file recovery and priority support. Agency includes everything in Pro and adds 20 workspaces for clients and a white-label platform.
Think of it as the shared drive for your team plus the tools to send files to people outside it. If you only need internal storage, you will use fewer of these features. If you also send work to clients, you will use most of them.
Write down the five things you need from a plan (storage, seats, workspaces, largest file, client sharing) before you open any pricing page. Then compare plans against your list, not against each other.
Seats and workspaces: how many people can use it
Seats are where one-time plans differ most. Pro 500 GB includes 1 workspace and 1 team seat, so it suits one person managing company files.
Pro includes 2 workspaces and unlimited team members, so colleagues can work in the same files. Agency includes 20 workspaces for clients, and each client can get a branded workspace of its own.
A workspace holds files, members and settings, while the plan sits with your organization. With team members on board, you set team roles such as Owner, Admin, Member or Viewer. Team folders give each department its own folders inside the same workspace.
Storage limits: what "lifetime" does not mean
Lifetime does not mean unlimited. Pro 500 GB has 500 GB, Pro has 3 TB and Agency has 6 TB. The largest single upload is up to 200 GB on the lifetime plans, against 1 GB on Free.
When you reach your storage limit, the terms (section 14) say uploads may stop until you free up space or upgrade. Reaching a limit does not delete files you already have. If you expect to outgrow a plan, email support@tarkle.com, where Tarkle can review custom plans and additional storage.

What happens at renewal
There is no renewal. A lifetime plan has no renewal date and no card charged next year, so there is no yearly bill to plan for.

Tarkle payments cannot be refunded once they are processed, except where the law requires a refund, and one-time purchases are included. That is why the Free test comes first. Read the refund policy for the full rule.
Where the AI assistant and white label sit
The lifetime plans cover storage, file versioning, team folders and the branded client portal. Lifetime plans do not include the AI assistant. The monthly and yearly Pro and Agency plans do, with AI summaries and titles, text generation and smart file names. If those matter to your team, check the monthly plans.
The Powered by Tarkle line stays on your public pages on Pro 500 GB and Pro. Only the Agency plan can replace it with your own name, as a white-label platform. Learn more about the Agency plan.
Terms to read before you pay
Read two things on the day you buy: the plan page and the terms. Section 6.3 of the terms, in its purchase types table, says a one-time purchase lasts for the "Product Life", which is defined in Section 6.6. Read that definition before you pay.
Three more points are worth a minute:
Your record of the purchase. Section 6.2 says your written record of the purchase is made up of your checkout page, the pricing page as it read on the purchase date and your Billing page. Save a copy of the plan page when you buy.
If a paid plan ends. Section 14.4 says your workspace moves to the Free plan at the end of the paid period. If your content is over the Free limits, you cannot upload new files, but you can download your files for 30 days, and Tarkle emails you before any deletion.
Deleted files. Deleted items wait in a recovery bin, 30 days on Free and 90 days on Pro. Lifetime Pro 500 GB and Pro list 90-day file recovery.
Compare against other one-time offers
Other sellers offer one-time storage too, and their terms differ. Your pre-payment checklist
Count the people who need to work in the files today and in a year, and match them to the seats.
Count the workspaces you need for teams, brands or clients.
Estimate your total storage and your largest single file.
List the features you rely on and confirm each one is on the plan page. The AI assistant is not on the lifetime plans.
Read section 6 of the terms and save a copy of the plan page.
Try the Free plan with real files first, so you know the plan fits before you pay once.
