The products exist because of problems we faced while running an agency.
In April 2024, a file link sent to a client led to a download page covered in pop-ups promoting lifetime deals and offers. That became the first impression — not the work, but the file sharing tool selling itself.
The usual options did not fit. Dropbox charged around $15 per user for a 30-person team of designers and contractors. Box had similar per-user pricing with low storage caps on lower plans. Google Workspace added extra per-user costs for storage on top of what we already paid for email. Budgets were already spread across Slack, Figma, Adobe, and contractor tools. What we needed was simple: deliver files to clients on our own domain, with our branding, at a price that worked for a growing agency.
That gap led to the first product
We started with the name Cloudbrand. Design work began in June 2024. A landing page went up and early comparison articles were published while development continued. The first version launched in October 2024.
After launch, the name created confusion. People expected a full consumer cloud storage app with sync and mobile features we never intended to build. We had built branded file sharing for agencies, studios, freelancers, consultants, and law firms — businesses that want to share files with clients at their own domain, under their own name.
By the end of 2025 we renamed it Sharebrand. In early 2026 we tried sharebrand.com for three months. The dedicated domain helped with branding but did not solve the deeper problem: three separate products with separate sites, databases, and marketing efforts created ongoing confusion for clients, partners, and the team.
We returned the domain and unified everything under one company and one domain: Tarkle.
Sharebrand became Tarkle Send. The Bripes, client portal became Tarkle Portal. Kontrable, the contractor platform became Tarkle Crew. The design subscription continued as Tarkle Studio.
Tarkle today

Tarkle Send is file sharing and tracking for agencies and studios. Deliver files on your own domain with your logo and colors. Custom domain delivery, branded download pages, file requests, tracking with Slack notifications, Stripe file payments, recipient portal on Pro, and file masking so you can keep files on Dropbox or Google Drive while presenting them under your brand. Plans start at $29 per month for 15 seats. No per-user fees. 7-day free trial.
Tarkle Portal is a white-label client portal for productized agencies with work orders, deliverables, approvals, copyright transfer, reseller accounts, and branded checkout.
Tarkle Crew is flat-rate contractor management. Payments go directly between you and contractors. No funds held by the platform.
Tarkle Studio is a design subscription for graphics, video, web design, and managed SEO.
Each product solves a real operational problem we encountered while scaling an agency. They now share infrastructure and focus. If you deliver files to clients and want every link to carry your name, try Tarkle Send free at tarkle.com/send.
This story was updated in June 2026 to reflect the consolidation under Tarkle. The core events and product journey remain unchanged.
