WeTransfer affiliate program: what exists and what does not
What WeTransfer publishes for partners, whether a referral reward exists, and which similar tools pay.
The WeTransfer affiliate program is not a program WeTransfer publishes. On wetransfer.com, read on 31 October 2026, the help centre lists no affiliate or referral article, and no page offers a commission table. What WeTransfer does publish is a perks page for subscribers and an advertising page for brands, and neither one pays a person for sending customers. This guide shows what each page says, how far that answer can be trusted, which similar tools do pay, and how Tarkle's own affiliate program and Refer a friend work if you want a program with published terms.

Does the WeTransfer affiliate program exist?
WeTransfer's public pages use the word "partner" in two ways, and neither is an affiliate scheme.

The subscriber benefits page says WeTransfer has partnered with a handful of brands to offer subscribers "exclusive perks and discounts". The perks, from brands such as Adobe Premiere Pro, MUBI, Shutterstock and Skillshare, go to the subscriber who logs in to redeem them. Nothing on the page pays you for bringing someone else.
The advertising page is the other "partner" route, and it runs in the opposite direction: it describes "A full-screen canvas for your brand, in front of 80 million creative professionals" and a form headed "Tell us about your campaign". A brand pays WeTransfer for space. A creator or blogger does not earn from it.
Is there a WeTransfer referral reward?
Not on any page read for this guide. The Accounts category of the help centre holds 6 articles and the Subscriptions category holds 17. They cover signing in, two-factor authentication, contacts, billing, plan limits, cancellations and refunds. None is about referring a friend or earning a reward.
WeTransfer's pricing page shows "Share and receive up to 3 GB / month" and "10 transfers per month" for its free tier, marked "For individual, non-commercial use only". A reward for inviting friends is not part of that list.
How sure is this answer?
This answer rests on absence of evidence. WeTransfer's pages show no program, but a private invitation, or an arrangement with an agency that WeTransfer works with, would not appear on a public page. If you want to promote WeTransfer for pay, ask WeTransfer through its help centre before you build content around it.
Never copy a commission rate for WeTransfer from a coupon site or a directory. If the number is wrong, your readers see your page, not the directory's. Quote a rate only from the program's own terms.
What do WeTransfer users say?
If you write a review, tell readers what other people report. Trustpilot showed WeTransfer with a score of 3.6 from 1,222 reviews when read on 31 October 2026. Its summary of recent reviews says some were unhappy with unexpected subscription fees and the three-day download window. Trustpilot notes that reviewers' opinions are their own.
Which similar tools publish a program that pays?
Two file storage tools publish affiliate terms on their own pages.
Proton Drive sits inside the Proton Partners Program. Its commission table shows 30% for new paid Proton Drive subscriptions and 30% for renewals. What does Tarkle pay?
Tarkle runs two separate programs, and both have published terms.
The affiliate program is for creators, publishers and businesses that recommend Tarkle to an audience. Under the affiliate terms, you earn 20% of Net Revenue from each customer you refer, and the tracking cookie lasts 45 days. Free plans earn nothing, so the commission follows what a customer actually pays. The terms also cover who can join and how payouts work, so read them before you plan a campaign. Refer a friend is for people who want storage instead of money. Open the Refer a friend page in your Tarkle account, copy your personal link, and send it to someone new. When that person verifies their email, creates their first workspace, and both accounts are still active 30 days later, you each get 5 GB. Under the referral terms the reward never pays cash, credit or discounts, and each account can earn up to 100 GB in total.
Which one should you choose?
If you are a blogger or reviewer who wants income, Proton Drive and Icedrive publish rates you can check today, and the Tarkle affiliate program publishes its rate and cookie in its terms. WeTransfer publishes none.

How should you disclose a link?
Put the disclosure next to the link, in plain words, not in a footer. For an affiliate link: "This post contains a paid link. I earn a commission if you buy through it." For a Refer a friend link: "I get extra storage if you sign up." Do not promise yourself or your readers an income.

Treating WeTransfer's subscriber perks as an affiliate program. The perks go to the subscriber.
Quoting a commission for WeTransfer from a directory, not from WeTransfer.
Mixing up a commission program with a storage reward. Tarkle's Refer a friend never pays cash.
