What is Feedback in Tarkle?

Feedback lets you send a PDF or a set of images to a client as one link and collect comments pinned on the exact spot, replies, and a final approve or request-changes answer. Reviewers do not need an account.

What you can review

• PDF: one document, with comments pinned per page.

• Images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, BMP, SVG, HEIC and HEIF.

• A board holds one kind of file: all PDFs or all images. Websites, video and audio are not supported.

How it works

1. You create a board from your files and share its link.

2. A reviewer opens the link, enters a name and email once, clicks the file to drop a numbered pin and writes a comment.

3. Your team sees every comment in a sidebar, sets a status, assigns it to a teammate and replies.

4. The reviewer finishes with Approve this work or Request changes.

Who can do what

• Owner and admins: create, share, change settings, archive, restore and delete boards.

• Team members: create boards (with the permission to create and share files), comment, set statuses and assign comments.

• Reviewers: no account. They comment, reply and finish the review.

Limits

• Free workspaces can have 5 active boards. See Feedback plans and limits.

• Comments and reviews cannot be edited or deleted afterwards. They are a permanent record.
