How to create a brand page with an AI assistant
An AI assistant can build a brand page from a company website as a private draft, for you to review and publish.
An AI assistant can build a brand page for a company from its website. It finds the name, colors, fonts and logo, and creates a private draft that only you can open. You review the draft in Tarkle, then tell the assistant to publish it.
Connect the assistant
Creating a brand page needs the Owner or Admin role in the workspace. ChatGPT, Claude and Grok connect to Tarkle with browser sign-in, so they need no key. Add Tarkle as a custom connector with the server address https://mcp.tarkle.com/mcp, then sign in to Tarkle in the browser and approve access when asked.
Other AI assistants, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, connect with an API key. Only the owners and admins of your organization see the keys. Open API in Settings, choose Create, enter a Name, and choose Access: All workspaces, or Only selected workspaces and then the workspaces the key may reach. Copy the key from the dialog that opens after you create it. A key can read and change everything in Tarkle for the workspaces it may reach, so treat it like a password. An owner or admin can copy it again later from its menu, with Copy token. A member who needs a key asks an owner or admin to make one.
Create the brand page
Tell the assistant the company's website, such as acme.com, and the workspace the brand page belongs to.
Read what the assistant found. It searches the public web for the company, and the search saves nothing. It returns a name, a summary, the company's story, industry, size and company type, social links, colors, fonts and logo addresses. It also says what it could not find and asks you for those details.
Let the assistant create the brand. A brand page needs a name of up to 48 characters, a summary of up to 200 characters and an industry from Tarkle's list. The brand starts as a private draft that nobody else can open. A password cannot be set through the assistant. Who can open a brand page? explains the access choices.
Let the assistant add the logo, the icon, the banner and other images from public image addresses. The same checks as an upload apply: file type, size and real image content. Fonts must be Google Fonts families, and Tarkle checks each name against Google Fonts.
Open **Brands**, open the brand and check its text, colors, fonts and images. Ask the assistant to change anything that is wrong.
Tell the assistant to publish the brand. It asks you to confirm first. Publishing makes the brand page public: anyone with the link can open it, and any password is removed. Until you confirm, the brand stays a private draft.
The new brand counts toward your organization's brand page limit. Free allows one brand page for the whole organization, and Pro and Agency allow unlimited brand pages. Brand page plans and limits has the details. To build a brand page by hand instead, follow How to create a brand page. You can change colors, fonts and logos later, as described in How to add logos, colors and fonts to a brand page.
Connect your own domain
The assistant can connect a domain, such as brand.example.com, to a brand page. It returns the DNS records to add at the company's DNS host, and it can check the domain's status afterwards. Free does not allow a custom domain on a new brand page. On Pro and Agency, each brand page can have its own domain. How do I use my own domain for a brand page? explains the records, and pricing lists the plans.
Archive or delete a brand page
The assistant cannot archive, restore or delete a brand page. Do it in the app, or with the Brand API described in the developer documentation. In the Brand API, a DELETE on the brand archives it and needs confirm_delete: true. Archiving takes the page offline and detaches its domains.
What happens next
After you publish, the brand page is public at its address. When you are ready to give a client access, read How do I share a brand page with a client?.
