How do I see views, downloads and requests for my brand pages?
Read the Page views, Downloads and Access requests cards on the Brands page and on each brand.
The Brands page and each brand page show three cards: Page views, Downloads and Access requests. Use them to see how often a brand page is opened, how many downloads it had and how many people asked for access.
Where the cards are
On the Brands page, the three cards sit under an Overview heading, above your list of brand pages. Open a brand and the same three cards appear above its tabs, showing only that brand's numbers.
Next to Overview, the period selector lets you choose Last 30 days (the default), Last 90 days or All time. It changes all three cards at once. The 30-day and 90-day cards chart by day, and All time charts by month.
What each card counts
Page views counts each visitor once every 30 minutes, so reloading a brand page does not add another view. Crawlers and link-preview bots are not counted. A view is recorded when the brand page content opens, so the password and private-access screens do not count. Who can open a brand page? explains those access settings.
Downloads counts each download. A single file, a logo and the full kit download from the brand's Download button each count as one download.
Access requests counts every request to download or view the brand, whatever its status. Open the brand's Requests tab to see each request and act on it. How do download approval and access requests work? covers approving and rejecting them.
Slack
Slack is available on Pro and Agency. Connect Slack to the workspace in Settings → Integrations. Then open Slack, choose a channel and click Save. Saving a channel turns on all nine Slack notifications, including Brand page viewed and Brand page downloaded. The dialog lists them but has no switch for each one. To stop the posts, disconnect Slack from the same dialog.
A counted view posts to the channel, and so does each download. Access requests post too: a download request follows the Brand page downloaded notification, and a view request follows Brand page viewed. The message has Approve and Reject buttons when Tarkle can receive button clicks from Slack. Otherwise it has a Review request button. Slack integration explains how to connect Slack to a workspace.
Your own tracking
Each brand can have its own Google Analytics 4 ID, Google Tag Manager ID and Google Search Console tag. Open the brand, choose Edit from the more actions menu (the three dots), then open the Settings tab. In the Integrations card, switch on the tag you want and paste its ID. Switching a tag off clears its value. Save the brand with the buttons at the top of the page.
A brand's Google Analytics 4 ID or Google Tag Manager ID that is the same as the workspace's own ID of that type is not loaded again, so visits are not counted twice. Brand tags load only when the brand page content is shown, not on the password or private-access screen.
Limits
The totals count every event in the period. The chart draws from the latest 2,000 events of each card, so on a brand with more than 2,000 events in the period, the chart can differ from the total.
Next: open a brand from the Brands page and check its three cards.
