How to sign in to Tarkle
Sign in with your email and a 6-digit code, with no password to type, and what to do if the code does not arrive.
You sign in to Tarkle with a 6-digit code that Tarkle sends to your email address. There is no password to type. Use these steps whenever you need to sign in.
Sign in with an emailed code
Open the sign-in page. Go to tarkle.com/sign-in.
Enter your email. Type the address of your account in the Email field.
Click Continue with email. Tarkle sends a code to that address.
Open the email. The subject is "Sign in to Tarkle", and the 6-digit code is in large type in the message.
Type the code. Enter the 6 digits on the Check your email screen. The page checks the code as soon as you type the sixth digit.
Finish the second step, if your account has one. Accounts with an authenticator app or a passkey turned on see this step.
On the Two-factor authentication screen, enter the code from your authenticator app in the Authenticator code field. The page checks it when all six digits are typed. A wrong code shows "That code did not work. Try the next one." The Use a passkey button appears on this screen when your account has a passkey and the page is on tarkle.com. The sign-in page also has a Continue with Google button, under a divider below Continue with email. Use it to sign in with your Google account instead of a code.
If the code does not arrive or does not work
The code is valid for 10 minutes and works once. Check your spam or junk folder. If the code is not there, click Resend code on the Check your email screen. The page shows "A new code is on its way.", and the earlier code stops working. To type a different address, click Change email.
If you see "That code did not work. Check it and try again.", type the 6 digits again.
Tarkle also limits how many codes it sends and how many wrong codes it accepts. Asking for too many codes in a short time shows "Too many attempts. Please try again in a few minutes." Too many wrong codes from one network address shows "Too many wrong codes. Try again in a few minutes." After 30 wrong codes for one address, that code is cancelled and you see "Too many wrong codes. Ask for a new one." Wait a few minutes, then click Resend code to get a new code.
The Check your email screen appears for every address, so it never shows whether an address has an account. If no email arrives, the address may not be the one on your account. Click Change email and type the address you signed up with.
If you forgot your password
Tarkle sign-in does not use a password, so there is no password to reset. Sign in with a code as described above. How to sign in if you forgot your password explains this in more detail.

At the bottom of the sign-in page, click Sign up in the line Don't have an account?. You can also go to tarkle.com/sign-up. How to create a Tarkle account explains the sign-up.
What happens next
After Tarkle accepts the code, it opens your session. You land on the page you were trying to reach. When there is no such page, you land on your dashboard.
