How to delete your Tarkle account
Delete your Tarkle account from the Personal account page, after you leave or delete your workspaces.
Deleting your account ends your access to Tarkle right away, and it cannot be undone. You delete it from your Personal account page. Tarkle does not delete an account while you still own or belong to a workspace, so leave or delete those workspaces first. If you only want to protect your sign-in, turn on two-step sign-in or a passkey instead.
Before you delete
When you open the delete dialog, Tarkle checks your workspaces. If you still own or belong to one, the dialog shows Finish these first with a line for each workspace, and the email field is not shown until that list is empty.
A workspace you own: open its Settings page and delete it. The dialog says it must be on the Free plan before you can delete it. Tarkle plans and prices lists the plans.
A workspace you belong to: leave it. The dialog says you can leave from the Workspaces page, which is on your Dashboard.
A workspace you belong to still counts while it is closed and inside its 30-day retention window, so it can block deletion until that window ends. A closed workspace you own does not block deletion.
Delete your account
Open your Personal account page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, below Active sessions, to the card that holds the delete button.
Click the delete button in the card. The Delete account dialog opens and shows "Checking your account…". If no workspace is listed under Finish these first, it shows "Deleting your account is irreversible. You will no longer be able to access Tarkle."
In the field under "To confirm, enter your email address below:", type your account email address. Spaces at the start or end are ignored, and capital letters do not matter.
Click Delete account in the dialog. The button works once the email matches and no workspace is listed under Finish these first.
After you click, you see "Your account was deleted. Signing you out." Then Tarkle signs you out. The deleted account cannot sign in again. To sign in with a different account, see How to sign in to Tarkle.
