Understanding the transfer detail page
The transfer detail page shows one transfer's files, status, recipients and action menu.
The transfer detail page shows one transfer in full: its files, its status, its recipients and the actions you can take on it. Use it to check what has happened to a transfer after you sent it. All transfers in the workspace are listed on Transfers.
What the page shows
The header shows the transfer's title, the number of items and their total size, and the date the transfer was created. Under the header, a row of details shows Shared with, Shared by, Type and Created by. Shared by reads Email when the transfer asks for an email address, and Link otherwise. Type shows the first of these labels that applies: Direct, Email, Private, Password or Public.
Further down the page, you find these sections:
The description, which you can edit on the page.
Recipients, the people the transfer was sent to. It appears when there are recipients.
Geography, the number of views from each country.
The views and downloads of the transfer, with a chart of the last 30 days and a revenue card.
Files, the files and folders in the transfer.
Activity, the 50 latest entries. How to see if a recipient opened your transfer explains how to read it.
Status badges
Badges sit under the header and show what has happened to the transfer. The page shows up to 10 badges. Any more are collapsed into a +N more badge, and hovering over it lists them.
Viewed means the transfer was opened. With more than one view it also shows the count, for example Viewed ×2, and hovering shows the last view.
Downloaded means a recipient saved files. It shows the download count the same way.
Delivered means the email with the transfer was delivered.
Purchased means someone bought the transfer. It shows a count when there is more than one purchase.
External means the transfer contains external items. It does not appear on video transfers.
Burned means the transfer was burned after read. Hover over it to see when. What is burn after read? explains the setting.
Disabled means the transfer is paused.
Expired means the expiry date has passed. It does not appear on a burned transfer.
The page refreshes after you pause or enable the transfer, or regenerate its URL, so the badges match the new state.
The action menu
The three-dot button at the top right of the header opens the action menu. Its items are:
Copy URL copies the link to the transfer, and shows "Copied to clipboard". For a direct download transfer it copies the direct download link, which is explained in Direct download links in Tarkle.
Transfer ID copies the transfer's ID in capital letters.
Send email opens the send email window.
Embed video, Embed audio or Embed transfer copies the embed code. These items appear only on public transfers, and only on plans that include embeds (see plans and pricing). A video transfer with more than one video opens Choose a video to embed first. How to embed a file transfer explains where to paste the code.
Rename opens a window to change the transfer's title.
View items opens a window with the files and folders in the transfer.
Regenerate URL appears only on a burned transfer. It creates a new transfer with a new link. The new transfer keeps the description, password, visibility, expiry date, burn after read, view only setting, download mode and files of the original.
Pause transfer marks the transfer as Disabled, and the menu then shows Enable Transfer to turn it back on. Only the person who created the transfer can use it, or an owner who has linked the workspace from another account. How to pause or disable a transfer in Tarkle covers both steps.
Delete removes the transfer at once, with no confirmation step. The page shows "Deleting transfer..." and then "Transfer deleted successfully", and takes you back to Transfers. How to delete a transfer covers deleting from the list.
