How to connect Cal.com to Tarkle
Save your Cal.com booking link so visitors can book a meeting from an embedded transfer page.
Cal.com is a scheduling tool. Once you save your Cal.com booking link in Tarkle, a Book a meeting button appears on embedded transfer pages, so the person viewing the transfer can book a time with you. This article shows how to connect Cal.com, where the button appears, and how to switch to Calendly or disconnect Cal.com.
Before you start
The button shows only on embedded transfer pages, which are transfers you show on your own website with an embed code. Embed a transfer on your website explains how to add one. You need your Cal.com booking link, for example https://cal.com/yourname. The link is saved for each workspace, so repeat these steps in every workspace that needs it.
Connect Cal.com
Open Integrations in the workspace you want to connect.
Click the Cal.com card.
In the Add Cal.com window, paste your booking link into the field, for example https://cal.com/yourname.
Click Save.
Tarkle only checks that the field is not empty, so an empty field cannot be saved. To check the connection, click the Cal.com card again. The window shows your saved link and a Disconnect button.
Where the button appears
On an embedded transfer page, visitors see a Book a meeting button in the toolbar, next to Copy Link. The button appears only when a booking link is saved. Clicking it opens Cal.com's booking window for your link, where the visitor chooses a time.
Note: The button is hidden when the embed address includes booking=false.
Switch to Calendly or disconnect Cal.com
Cal.com and Calendly cannot be connected at the same time. While Cal.com is connected, the Calendly card is disabled. To switch, open the Cal.com card, click Disconnect, and then connect Calendly on its card.
Disconnect removes the booking link and the Cal.com connection from the workspace. The Book a meeting button stops showing on embedded transfer pages until you save a booking link again.
Who can set it up
Only the owner of the workspace can save or disconnect the booking link. Tarkle refuses the change from any other account. A partner can hide the Cal.com card for a customer workspace, and then the card does not appear in the list.
What happens next
Open an embedded transfer page on your website and check that Book a meeting appears next to Copy Link.
