HubSpot Chat integration

The HubSpot Chat integration adds the HubSpot chat widget to the public pages of your workspace, such as file transfer pages. You connect it by saving your HubSpot Portal ID in Tarkle. For the other tools you can connect, see Integrations: connect tools to Tarkle.

Connect HubSpot Chat

Integrations belong to each workspace. Open the workspace you want to change, then follow these steps.

  1. Open Integrations in the workspace settings.

  2. Find the HubSpot card in the list. It is in the live chat group.

  3. Click Connect. If HubSpot Chat is already connected, the button reads Manage.

  4. In the dialog, type your HubSpot Portal ID in the Portal ID field.

  5. Click Save.

When you save, the dialog closes and the card shows a Connected label. Tarkle checks only that the field is not empty, and an empty field shows an error. Tarkle does not check the number itself, so copy the Portal ID exactly as HubSpot shows it.

Disconnect HubSpot Chat

Open the HubSpot card and click Manage, then click Disconnect. Tarkle removes the Portal ID from the workspace, and the chat widget stops loading on its public pages. To leave the dialog without changes, click Cancel.

Who can change it

Only the workspace owner, or a linked account that has access to the workspace, can save or disconnect HubSpot Chat. A workspace has one live chat connection. While HubSpot Chat is connected, the Intercom and Crisp cards are disabled. To use one of them instead, disconnect HubSpot Chat first.

What happens next

After you save, the chat loads on the public pages of that workspace. Open one of your file transfer pages to check it.
